Penerapan Model Quantum Teaching dalam Pembelajaran Menulis Karangan Narasi

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan didasarkan pada kondisi siswa kelas V SD Negeri 10 Jangka, yaitu masih banyak siswa yang mendapatkan hasil belajar menulis karangan narasi belum mencapai KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 10 Jangka dalam menulis karangan narasi menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching, selain itu juga mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan respon siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model Quantum Teaching pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 10 Jangka. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif tipe deskriptif. Adapun jenis penelitianhya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data penelitian ini adalah hasil tes awal, tes akhir setiap siklus. hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh pengamat dan hasil wawancara bersama siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pada siklus I persentase ketuntasan belajar mencapai 45% kemudian meningkat menjadi 90% pada siklus II. Hasil observasi siklus I terhadap aktivitas guru didapatkan persentase 79,4% dan meningkat menjadi 94%. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 79,4% dan meningkat menjadi 94,4% pada siklus II. Hasil respon siswa juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dnegan model pembelajaran quantum teaching sangat disenangi oleh anak-anak. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan model Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan motivasi dalam menulis karangan narasi di kelas V SD Negeri 10 Jangka.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the condition of the class V students at SD Negeri 10 Jangka. That is, there were still many students who learned to write narrative essays but had not yet reached the KKM. This study aims to determine and describe the increase in the ability of class V students at SD Negeri 10 Jangka in writing narrative essays using the quantum teaching learning model, in addition to describing teacher activities, student activities and student responses in learning using the quantum teaching model for class V students at SD Negeri 10 Jangka. This research approach is qualitative descriptive type. The type of research is classroom action research. The data of this study are the results of the initial test, the final test of each cycle, the results of observations made by observers and the results of interviews with student. Data was collected through tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed that in the first cycle the percentage of learning completeness reached 45% and then increased to 90% in the second cycle. The results of the firts cycle of observations on teacher activity obtained a percentage of 79,4% and increased to 94%. The results of observations of student activity in the first cycle reached 79,4% and increased to 94,4% in the second cycle. The results of student responses also show that learning with the quantum teaching learning model is very liked by children. Therefore, it can be said that the use of the quantum teaching model can improve students’ abilities and motivation in writing narrative essays in class V SD Negeri 10 Jangka.
